Throwing for Consistency with Diane Sanfilippo - June 25th at 1pm EST
Workshop Description:
In this class, we'll cover tips and strategies I have developed to throw forms with consistency that you can easily apply in your throwing. I'll review tips for cylinders, bottles, bowls, and plates. This class is ideal for someone with throwing experience, who can comfortably center clay and pull walls, but who is looking to make forms that match one another more easily - whether to make matching sets or for production-style work.
Artist Bio:
Diane first discovered pottery in an attempt to find a fun and creative hobby to balance the stressors of daily life, but that quickly developed into a full-blown obsession and now full-time work including teaching classes locally and online. She obsesses over figuring out the best way to do things, constantly iterating on efficiency and aesthetic details. Diane makes primarily production-style, functional wares, but also dabbles in more home-decor style vases and other fun goodies when the mood strikes. You can learn more about Diane at dianeceramics.com or via Instagram @dianeceramics.
Once you purchase the workshop, you will receive an email with the Zoom link and any other info that you need before joining! You’ll receive a recording of the 1.5-2 hour session, as well, for 6 months of access.
