Nesting Mixing Bowls with Becca Otis WORKSHOP RECORDING

Becca Otis is a potter who has been tossin clay since 2009 and selling full time since 2014. She specializes in efficient movements while throwing, specifically small items. She has been a production potter for most of her career and just doesn’t like wasting movement. In 2022 she bought a van and moved into it (on purpose) and has been traveling and potting ever since.

In this workshop, we will be talking about how to correctly measure mixing bowls, so that they match up not only in width, but in height as well. We will also focus on adding a beautiful and functional spout, and how to make a nice belly in a bowl. Skills that you learn in this class will be applicable to many other throwing practices and projects as well!
